Main Street Animal Clinic is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team!
Located in Oakland — just outside Memphis — we are a well-established small animal practice known for comprehensive, compassionate care and a warm, community-centered approach. With a 4-doctor team, advanced surgical capabilities, and a collaborative support staff team, we offer a rewarding environment where your skills truly make a difference.
This is an excellent opportunity for Veterinary Assistants who are excited to fully utilize their skills in both surgery and outpatient care — including exotic animal handling — while making meaningful connections with clients and their pets.

This position is ideal for Veterinary Assistants who enjoy engaging with clients and supporting outstanding patient care in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Training is available for the right candidate — we genuinely invest in growing talent from within.
Schedule: This is a full-time position with a 5/8 schedule, Monday–Friday, with rotating availability on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month (9:00 AM–1:00 PM). No on-call or emergency coverage required.
