Full-Time/Part-Time Home Health Aides position needed at Prosper Healthcare Services in Hempstead, NY.

Prosper Healthcare Services is looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients’ homes in accordance with an established care plan. Weekly schedule

• Monday to Friday

• Weekend availability

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the patient to maintain good personal hygiene by assisting with bathing; care of skin, hair nails, and mouth; and changing of bed linens.

• Help patients get in and out of bed and assist them to ambulate as appropriate.

• Assist patients in the use of durable medical equipment.

• Plan and prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary restrictions and assist in feeding patients when necessary.

• Maintain a healthy, safe, and clean environment for the patient.

• Perform homemaking duties as assigned.

• Assist patients with prescribed exercises, when required.

• Maintain up-to-update clinical knowledge.

REQUIREMENTS

• Certified Home Health Aide is Required

• Access to Reliable Transportation

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Current and valid driver’s license or State ID (Required)

• Proficiency in English

• No Hospice experience needed!

SALARY

• 35k-50k per year + Bonus + Equity
