Full-time/Part-time Licensed Massage Therapist Needed at Taproot Balance Acupuncture Clinic.


We are seeking a LMT with strong orthopedic, deep tissue medical massage skills specifically for spine and extremity injuries. Learn how to assess and examine patients and tailor a specific treatment plans for patients.

Compensation:

$70, 000 to $80, 000 a year

Work Schedule:

Full-time or part-time positions available

Flexible work schedules between 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform massage therapy techniques to work with patients utilizing massage therapy for health and injury needs.
  • Assess clients' needs and create personalized treatment plans taking into account their history.
  • Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy and physiology to inform treatment decisions
  • Conduct patient assessments and physical examinations to identify areas of concern or specific conditions
  • Administer various massage techniques such as trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage, orthopedic massage, and fascia work.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist.
  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and the benefits of various massage techniques.
  • Proficient in pain management techniques to effectively address client discomfort
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals
  • In-depth understanding of human anatomy and physiology to target specific muscle groups and address underlying issues
  • Ability to assess patients' conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Proficient in deep tissue massage techniques for targeted relief of chronic pain or muscle tightness
  • Knowledgeable in acute pain management strategies for clients with acute injuries or conditions
