Responsibilities:

  • Perform massage therapy techniques for health and injury needs
  • Assess clients' needs and create personalized treatment plans based on their history
  • Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy and physiology in treatment decisions
  • Conduct patient assessments and physical examinations to identify areas of concern or specific conditions
  • Administer various massage techniques, including trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, orthopedic massage, and fascia work
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist
  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and benefits of various massage techniques
  • Proficient in pain management techniques for effective client discomfort relief
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology for effective communication with healthcare professionals
  • In-depth understanding of human anatomy and physiology to target specific muscle groups and address underlying issues
  • Ability to assess patients' conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Proficient in deep tissue massage techniques for targeted relief of chronic pain or muscle tightness
  • Knowledgeable in acute pain management strategies for clients with acute injuries or conditions
