Full-time Dental Office Manager for Private Practice In Garden City, NY

This will help to ensure efficient operations and seamless coordination within our medical office.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time position
  • 8 am til 6 pm but flexible
  • Occasional flexibility required to accommodate operational needs.

Job Duties:

In this role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing and supervising the day-to-day operations of the Dental office, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Developing and implementing office policies and procedures in compliance with the regulations and industry best practices.
  • Collaborating with clinical staff to optimize patient flow, reduce wait times, and enhance the overall patient experience.
  • Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels of medical supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals.
  • Coordinating and overseeing the billing and coding process, including insurance claims and patient billing.
  • Implementing and maintaining electronic health record (EHR) systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy in patient data management.
  • Conducting regular performance evaluations for office staff, providing constructive feedback and facilitating professional development opportunities..
  • Handling patient inquiries, complaints, and conflict resolution in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Collaborating with other department managers to streamline cross-functional workflows and improve organizational efficiency.

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Must have experience with Dentrix
  • A minimum of 2 years of dental administration experience.
  • Should have exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Dedicated to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Must be friendly, professional, and highly organized.
  • Solid understanding of dental billing and insurance procedures.
  • Previous dental experience is beneficial.

Salary:

$65,000-$85,000 per year, depending on experience plus benefits
