Full-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Needed at Western Premiere Therapy in Rockford, WA


We are looking for a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team and counsel individuals, couples, and families at our medical facility.
Your responsibilities include diagnosing and treating patients, leading sessions with individuals and couples, and referring clients to specialists as needed.
Ultimately, you will work directly with patients to counsel them in treating various mental health disorders in order to lead a healthier lifestyle.

Responsibilities
Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients
Diagnose and treat mental health disorders
Create individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances
Meet with patients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress
Mental Health Therapist responsibilities include diagnosing and treating patients, leading sessions with individuals and groups, and referring clients to specialists as needed

Requirements
Valid license as LMFT
Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling
Knowledge of evidence-based practices for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders
Strong therapeutic and counseling skills with the ability to motivate clients
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
