Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Therapist Position Available at Contemporary Trauma Mental Clinic.


We are presently seeking a compassionate mental health therapist to join our team, with an emphasis on providing specialized mental health therapy to clients who have been touched by trauma.

Our continuous aim at our outpatient clinic is to create a secure and caring atmosphere for trauma sufferers. We focus on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Some flexibility in scheduling may be required based on patient needs.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct trauma-informed mental health evaluations on individuals to determine their trauma history and relevant treatment options.

- Create and implement specific trauma recovery and resilience-building treatment strategies.

- Provide evidence-based therapy therapies such as EMDR and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients in order to assist them in processing trauma, developing coping mechanisms, and promoting recovery.

- Work together with psychiatrists and other specialists to provide patients with integrated treatment.

- Provide crisis intervention and assistance in the event of a trauma-related emergency.

- Inform patients and their families about trauma reactions, coping techniques, and resources.

- Comply with legal and ethical norms by maintaining accurate and private paperwork.

- Take part in case consultations, team meetings, and trauma-informed care professional development activities.

- Stay updated on the most recent research and best practices in trauma therapy.

Qualifications:

- A master's or doctorate degree from an approved university in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

- Current and valid state license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT or PsyD.

- Preferably 2 years of post-licensure experience.

- In-depth understanding of trauma-related illnesses, trauma-informed therapy techniques, and resilience-building strategies.

- Previous experience with trauma-focused therapy and interventions.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a sympathetic and nonjudgmental demeanor.

- The ability to stay cool and collected under pressure.

- Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications is required.

- The ability to collaborate as a member of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay:

$90,000 to $105,000 per year
