Remote Licensed Mental Health Therapists Wanted - Join our Growing Community

Golden Dove Psychological and Counseling Center has set out on a mission to reimagine how high-acuity care is delivered to young people and families in crisis. Our initial offering is a virtual intensive outpatient program, which places peers with similar mental health experiences and goals into customized virtual groups. Our team of masters-level clinicians lead groups multiple times per week to deliver a higher level of care.

In line with this, our team is looking for exceptional Licensed Mental Health Therapists/ Counselors to provide remote services to our adolescent and young adult clients. We're eager to work with forward-thinking mental health and substance use professionals to enhance our programming and provide the best possible care to our clients.

Licensed therapists who join our team will be eligible for a sign-on bonus.

Flexible full-time or part-time positions are available with adaptable scheduling options.

Our mental health community offers a supportive environment for both therapists and clients. Therapists have the flexibility to work fully remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and emotional well-being.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs and goals.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients, including individual, family, and group therapy.
  • Monitor and track clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support to clients in need.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in mental health treatment and research.
  • Participate in regular supervision and training opportunities to enhance clinical skills.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards as outlined by relevant licensing boards and organizations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • Possess a master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Show compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude.
  • Exhibit strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • No history of disciplinary actions on board.
