Full Time Mental Health Counselor Needed at Keck Health Care Center

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in providing counseling services, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and maintaining detailed clinical records. Collaboration with fellow healthcare professionals, a deep passion for our field, and continuous professional development are the foundation of our work.

Job Types:

  • Full-time Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess family needs and facilitate appropriate linkages for families to community-based services.
  • Work within a crisis driven environment with a knowledge base of substance abuse and addiction, domestic violence, child maltreatment, trauma, and mental health conditions.
  • Provide education to other members of the team around clients’ psychosocial stressors and needs, to ensure positive outcomes for families.
  • Document patient medical and psychological histories, physical assessment results, diagnoses, treatment plans, prescriptions, or outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in counseling, Psychology, or a related field
  • Licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist in the state of Texas is required.
  • Proven experience in providing counseling services to a diverse clientele.

Salary:

$115,000 to $130,000 a year.
