Full-time/Part-time Professional Counselor needed at Masterminds Behavioral Clinic in Chester, PA

To those looking for assistance and direction, our caring specialists provide outstanding care. We provide a range of mental health services to people and families with little access to care, treating various mental health issues.

SCHEDULE

  • Full-Time and Part-Time

  • Monday to Friday, Flexible Time

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To provide individualized therapy strategies for clients, and conduct thorough examinations and evaluations.

  • Deliver therapeutic therapies that are supported by evidence to groups, families, couples, and individuals.

  • Utilize several, individually-tailored therapeutic techniques, such as CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy.

  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive client care.

  • Keep accurate and current clinical records while abiding by the law and morality.

  • Participate in workshops and professional development to stay current on developments in mental health research.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state

  • Experience in counseling for at least two years, preferably in a clinical context, is required.

  • Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma is highly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, establishing rapport with a variety of clientele.

  • Ability to cooperate with a healthcare team has been demonstrated.

  • Proficiency with EMR software and related technologies.

$70,000 - $90,000 + BENEFITS
