Full-time/Part-time Licensed Professional Counselor Needed at Thriveworks Health System in Jersey City, NJ

Responsibilities:

• We manage the business operations so you can fully focus on providing high-quality care to your clients.
• Cloud based EHR (electronic health records) provided in order to ensure compliance for all insurance companies, including Medicaid and Medicare.
• We provide a HIPPA compliant platform for telehealth sessions.
• Provide counseling services to patients during their treatment with Empowerment Counseling Services.
• Conduct individual, family, and group counseling sessions to help identify problems and solutions and maintain client safety and confidentiality.
• Conduct treatment programs to help control symptoms of mental health, trauma, and/or dual diagnosis.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state
• Mental health counseling: 3 years (Required).
• Must have a reliable laptop/desk top with reliable internet and web camera.
• Must have the ability to effectively work Independently on a consistent basis.
• Complete background check.
• Willing to work some weekends/evenings - Flexibility to make your own schedule.
