We are offering an excellent job opportunity for a part-time or full-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established Pediatric office

Job Description:

• Assesses, diagnoses, plans, and implements medical care for patients in collaboration with a physician.
• Functions within the full scope of licensure, taking accountability for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care.
• Provides direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care, ensuring holistic and individualized care for all assigned patients.
• Develops, implements, and manages an optimal interdisciplinary plan of care, considering psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
• Maintains collaborative relationships with patients, their family/support group, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communication.
• Adheres to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws/regulations to ensure a quality, highly reliable patient experience.
• Engages in continuous growth and development in professional advanced nursing practice.
• Follows ambulatory care and inpatient standardized procedures, protocols, policies, and procedures as regulated by the State of California Nurse Practice Act.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday
• 9 am-5 pm

EDUCATION:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Master's: Nursing

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:

• NP-Nurse Practitioner (National certification)
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
• Certification required based on the department requirements.

DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:

• Department: SMCS-Sutter Child Center Outpatient Services, CPNP - Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

• 5 years of recent relevant experience.
• Experience within specialty required.

Salary

$126,000 - $150,000 per year
