Full-time and Part-time Occupational Therapists Needed at Skill Ability Center in Canton, OH.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Job Type:

Full-time/Part-time

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing services to our clients using substantial and specialized therapy skills,
  • Initiating appropriate preventative and rehab procedures,
  • Preparing and submitting timely clinical and progress notes,
  • Overseeing coordination of patient services,
  • Completing medical history/home safety check/environmental assessments,
  • Performing continuing OASIS assessments,
  • Developing individualized Plan of Care (POC) to be submitted to the physician for approval,
  • Determining the medical necessity for other services,
  • Evaluating patient’s ADL and iADL abilities and need for home health aide,
  • Supervises HHA services and associated requirements and documentation,
  • Review billing processes, including co-pay requirements, and
  • Exceptional communication with clients, co-workers, and the general public.

Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed an OT Education Program accredited by the Accreditation Council for OT Education (ACOTE) of the American OT Association (AOTA) or successor organizations
  • Successfully completed the entry-level certification exam for OTs from the NBCOT
  • Currently licensed
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience
  • Experience in the home healthcare industry (preferred)
  • Organized and meticulous with an exceptional level of confidentiality and attention to detail
  • Clean criminal background check and drug screening
  • CPR certification

Pay:

$89.99 - $90.00 per hour
