Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday (8 hours/day)

Salary:
$160,000 - $200,000 annually

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver advanced practitioner care to orthopedic patients under physician supervision, including diagnostic, therapeutic, procedural, and preventive care.
  • Conduct patient evaluations, interpret radiology reports and lab results, and determine treatment plans.
  • Perform patient histories, prescribe medications, order therapies, and assist in surgical procedures.
  • Manage patient care across various orthopedic services, including inpatient care, consultations, pre-procedural, procedural, and post-procedure follow-ups in hospital and outpatient settings.

Requirements:

  • Recent clinical experience as a PA specializing in orthopedic procedures.
  • Proficiency in wound care management.
  • Capability to manage urgent referrals from the community.
  • At least one (1) year of experience as a PA; dedicated fellowship is acceptable.
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program with a master’s degree or PhD.
  • State licensure as a Physician Assistant.
  • National certification as a Physician Assistant.
  • DEA Certificate within three (3) months of hire.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational abilities, and judgment.
  • Capacity to handle personal stress and meet hospital credentialing and billing standards.
  • Ability to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.
  • Physically able to lift 25 pounds and perform necessary tasks related to patient care.
  • Successful completion of background checks, drug screening, Live Scan fingerprinting, medical evaluation, and functional capacity assessment.
