Full-Time Physician Assistant for Pro Health Cardiology and Consulting Center in Kansas City, KS

The Pro Health Cardiology and Consulting Center is seeking highly motivated and qualified individuals for the position of Urgent Care Physician Assistant. As a valued member of our team, you will play an important role in diagnosing and treating health conditions while promoting good health practices. Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 5:00 pm shift

Salary:

$140,000-$180,000 per year (based on experience) + Full Benefits

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough patient examinations and review medical records
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood tests and X-rays
• Diagnose and treat various acute health conditions and illnesses
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for chronic diseases
• Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness
• Maintain accurate and organized patient records and schedules
• Educate patients and their families on diseases, epidemics, and preventive measures
• Oversee the overall health and well-being of patients
• Promote and encourage good health practices
• Engage in continuous professional development and research

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Physician Assistant in a clinic, hospital, ER, or urgent care setting
• Expertise in primary care and acute care practices
• Thorough knowledge of health and patient care regulations
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
• Strong ethical values and commitment to patient-centered care
• Team spirit and positive attitude for effective collaboration
• Patience and cool-headedness in high-pressure situations
• Willingness to continuously learn and gain clinical experience
• Valid State Physician Assistant license (PA-C)
• DEA number is required
• Master's degree in Physician Assistant
