Full-time/Part-Time Podiatrist Wanted for Foot Care Centre Podiatry Wellness in Rochester, New Hampshire

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Podiatrist to join our healthcare team and provide exceptional foot and ankle care to our patients.

The Medical Podiatrist will diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, promoting optimal patient outcomes and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of podiatric medicine, possess strong clinical skills, and demonstrate a patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to diagnose and evaluate foot and ankle conditions, including deformities, injuries, and disorders.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments, utilizing a combination of medical, surgical, and nonsurgical interventions.
  • Perform surgical procedures as needed, including but not limited to bunionectomy, hammertoe correction, and minor surgical interventions.
  • Provide routine foot care services, including nail and callus care, wound management, and preventive measures.
  • Prescribe and fit orthotics, braces, and other assistive devices to address patients' unique podiatric needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and primary care physicians, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients on proper foot care practices, footwear choices, and preventive measures to promote foot health.
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including examination findings, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Stay current with advancements in podiatric medicine, participate in continuing education, and contribute to the development of best practices.
  • Engage in community outreach and educational initiatives to raise awareness about foot health and promote preventive care.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and upholding the highest level of integrity.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the enhancement of patient care processes.
  • Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and a patient-centered approach in all interactions with patients and their families.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited podiatry school.
  • Current and valid state podiatry license.
  • Board certification or eligibility in podiatric medicine and surgery.
  • Proven clinical experience in diagnosing and treating various foot and ankle conditions.
  • Surgical proficiency and experience in performing podiatric surgeries.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
  • Commitment to staying current with industry trends and advancements through continuous education.
  • Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and adept at maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Dedication to patient confidentiality and adherence to ethical and professional standards.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Saturdays: Rotational shifts with other team members, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Salary:

$180,000 to $220,000 per year.
