Flexible Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Needed at Mind and Body Connect Wellness Center.

We are a well-known private outpatient mental health clinic dedicated to providing high-quality mental health treatments to people of all ages in our community, including adults, children, and families. Our major goal is to deliver the greatest quality mental health care to our clients in the least restricted setting feasible. Our comprehensive services include therapy, psychopharmacological treatment, clinical research, and counseling, all of which are customized to the requirements of our outpatient population.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a client caseload, developing good rapport and effective working relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.
  • Meet with clients on a frequent basis to monitor progress, stability, future appointments, and initiate discharge when appropriate.
  • Develop, implement, and supervise person-centered treatment programs in conjunction with clients.
  • Maintain complete and up-to-date documentation for each customer, including progress notes.
  • Perform intake evaluations.
  • Hold a predetermined amount of individual sessions every week.
  • Participate in one-on-one supervision sessions.
  • Encourage cooperation with other healthcare providers.
  • Adopt a development mentality in all facets of your career.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in mental health counseling
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC): unrestricted, independent, current, active
  • At least one year of experience in a clinical outpatient setting post-graduate
  • Must be comfortable using computers (excel spreadsheet, RMS systems, outlook, pimsy)
  • Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families
  • Comfortable completing intake assessments
