Full-time/Part-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Wanted at Recovery Wellbeing Counseling Center.

Schedule:

  • Flexible hours
  • Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Responsibilities:

-Conducts regular evaluations to address the needs of patients under care.

-Facilitates communication among supervisors, direct care staff members, family members, guardians, and connected parties in order to communicate progress updates on a person.

-To track work progress, shares a tentative plan with supervisors that includes appointments, home visits, and observation sessions.

-Home visits are organized to meet the requirements for in-home observations, chart reviews, staff interviews, and data analysis.

-Ensures that the program strategy is carried out effectively and accurately.

Participates in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and other required events.

-Monthly and quarterly progress reports are completed.

-Arranges training sessions to ensure that employees and other team members are proficient in program plan execution and documentation.

-Conducts follow-up interviews, home visits, and observations to ensure that individual requirements are met on an ongoing basis.

-Manages records to ensure that information is accessible to those who need it.

-Serves as a connection between the general population and the mental health community in order to provide aid in reaching development goals.

-Participates in the creation of methods for training materials targeted at improving individual programs.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state
  • Experience in counseling for at least two years, preferably in a clinical context, is required.
  • Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, establishing rapport with a variety of clientele.
  • Ability to cooperate with a healthcare team has been demonstrated.
  • Proficiency with EMR software and related technologies.
