Seeks Full-time/Part-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in our Community Mental Health Center.

Job Duties:

- Create specific therapy programs for individuals and do thorough exams and evaluations.

- Provide individuals, couples, families, and groups with evidence-based therapy therapies.

- Apply a number of customized therapeutic strategies, such as CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy.

- Work with interdisciplinary teams to provide complete client care.

- Keep accurate and up-to-date clinical records while complying to legal and ethical guidelines.

- Attend workshops and professional development events to stay current on advances in mental health research and practice.

Job Qualifications:

- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related subject is required.

- Current and unrestricted state licensing as a Professional Counselor (LPC).

- Two years of counseling experience is required, preferably in a clinical setting.

- It is extremely desired to specialize in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse, or trauma.

- In-depth knowledge of legal and ethical requirements in the counseling profession.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to establish relationships with a broad clientele.

- Demonstrated ability to work successfully as part of a healthcare team.

- Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and associated technologies.

Pay and Benefits:

- Annual salary ranges from $90,000 to $105,000, with caseload assignments based to availability and expertise.
