Job Setting:

- We are an outpatient counseling facility.

- Our counselors meet with clients by appointment, with flexible scheduling to meet their specific requirements.

Job Duties:

- Conduct initial assessments and full evaluations on individuals to establish appropriate treatment programs.

- Provide individuals, couples, families, and groups with evidence-based therapy therapies.

- Apply a variety of therapeutic methods, including as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief treatment, to meet the specific requirements of each client.

- Work together with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide clients with complete care.

- Keep accurate and up-to-date clinical records while keeping to ethical norms and legal duties.

- Stay current on the latest research and advances in the field of mental health by actively engaging in relevant workshops and professional development opportunities.

Job Qualifications:

- A Master's or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related subject is required.

- Current and unrestricted state licensing as a Professional Counselor (LPC).

- A minimum of 2 years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical environment.

- It is extremely desired to specialize in areas such as trauma, substance misuse, family therapy, or couples counseling.

- Thorough understanding of ethical norms and legal restrictions pertaining to counseling profession.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to create rapport and form therapeutic connections with clients from a variety of backgrounds.

- Proven ability to operate successfully in a team environment and interact with other healthcare professionals.

- Expertise in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related software.

Pay and Benefits:

- Annual salary ranges between $90,000 and $105,000, depending on workload.
