We are looking for a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who is passionate about helping people improve their mental and emotional well-being. In this remote position, you will work with individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and concerns, providing them with professional counseling and therapy services via telehealth platforms. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct remote counseling sessions with clients using secure telehealth platforms.
  • Assess clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group therapy to clients dealing with a wide range of mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship problems, and substance abuse.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive client care.
  • Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of counseling and therapy.
  • Participate in regular supervision and team meetings to support your professional development.
  • Demonstrate empathy, active listening, and cultural competence in all client interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Master's degree in counseling or a related field from an accredited program.
  • Telehealth training and experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills.
  • Knowledge of ethical and legal standards governing counseling practice.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a private, secure workspace for remote sessions.
  • Willingness to adhere to all relevant state and federal telehealth regulations.
